Release 0.4

Release 0.4 is about seeing more clearly how AI assistants find and recommend your business, and about giving you more control over your plan and your inbox. Here is what's new.

Highlights

  • The free check is now a Discovery check. See whether AI assistants recommend you when a customer asks for what you offer.
  • Max Mode. Ask every question on every AI model in one check.
  • Clearer Discovery results. A tidier results grid, plain explanations when something goes wrong, and question improvements that build on each other.
  • Extra workspaces and extra reports on Pro and Scale plans.
  • Email preferences. Choose which emails you receive—including Direct Assistance from our team—and unsubscribe from everything in one click.

Discovery

A free Discovery check

The free check on our website now runs a real Discovery check. It asks AI assistants the kinds of questions your customers ask and shows whether your business comes up in the answers.

  • You get a short profile of your business, your Discovery score, and the answers each AI model gave.
  • You also get recommendations based on what the AI assistants actually said.
  • If you save your results to a new account, they are waiting for you in your workspace.
  • The free check has a new address: /discovery-check/. Old links still work and take you to the new page.
  • If you already have an account, we ask you to sign in and run the check from your workspace, where your results are kept.

At least two AI models on every question

Every question in a standard Discovery check is now asked to at least two of the major AI assistants, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. That gives you a fairer view of each question than a single answer can. Google AI Overviews still runs on every question as an extra.

Max Mode: every question on every model

When you want the complete picture, turn on Max Mode before you run a check:

  1. Open Discovery in your workspace and go to Check discovery.
  2. Switch on Max Mode. A note below the button explains what changes.
  3. Check the estimate. Max Mode checks every question on every model. It uses far more credits than a normal check.
  4. Run the check.

Easier-to-read results

  • The Asked grid now wraps long questions, so you can read them in full, and has room for every model's column.
  • When an AI model could not answer because of a problem on the model's side, the grid shows an asterisk (*) with a short note. These answers do not count against your score.
  • When a model is having trouble during a check, the message is now shorter and easier to understand.

Better questions, automatically

  • When a question doesn't get your business recognised on the first try, Lift suggests a better wording. It lists every question that needs attention and tells you clearly when there is nothing to change.
  • When you improve a question that was already improved, the earlier improvements are now kept. Each improvement builds on the last one instead of replacing it.
  • When an AI assistant answers about a different company with a similar name, Lift helps you rewrite the question so it is clearly about you.

Plans and billing

Extra workspaces

Pro and Scale accounts can now add workspaces beyond the ones their plan includes. Each extra workspace is added to your subscription, and you can see what you pay for it on your Plan page.

Extra reports

Your plan includes a number of reports each month. You can now keep going after you reach that number:

  • The Reports page shows how many reports you have left this month.
  • After you reach your allowance, each extra report costs 250 credits on Pro or 200 credits on Scale, no matter how many formats you download.
  • When you reach your allowance, the Reports page shows the price of the next report, and your credit balance updates as soon as it runs.

Clearer plan messages

If your plan was set up for you by our team, the Plan page now tells you to contact us to change it, instead of showing a confusing error.

Your email, your choice

  • Your Account page has a new Email preferences card. Choose which emails you want from us: Direct Assistance from our team, helpful tips, release news, and offers.
  • Every email we send has a link to your preferences, so you can change them without signing in.
  • One click on Unsubscribe from all turns all lists off.
  • When you create an account, you choose which lists to join right during signup.

Bug fixes

  • Alignment checks create your strategy again.
  • "Not reached" on Discovery questions is now explained, with a quick way to rework the question.
  • Reputation questions always stay about your own brand.
  • Brands outside your category are shown separately in Reputation comparisons.

News

This page is new too. From now on, every release gets a post here that explains what changed, in plain language. Our new Blog is live as well.
